dog & puppy training classes

Our training classes are run by our Animal Behaviourist who uses scientific learning theory and is currently studying an MSc in Clinical Animal Behaviour at Lincoln University.

Our puppy training classes aim to teach you and your new best friend to understand each other and enjoy working together to build a mutually rewarding long term relationship. These classes are small limited to 6 dogs per class to ensure you get more attention from the trainer. The course is six weeks and held at Utterby Village Hall. The course fees are £60 payable upfront along with your completed booking form. The classes are positive, reward based and ground in scientific learning theory. We work on getting you to understand your puppy better and how to make them confident, well behaved adult dogs. We don't just provide an obedience class we give them life skills.

Next evening class
Thursday 4th October at 6.30pm at Utterby Village Hall, these are an hour long and run for 6 weeks. If you can complete this and email it back to us ([email protected]) then we will send you an invoice for payment prior to the classes starting (please check you junk folder). Once the booking form and payment is received this will reserve your space. If you would rather do this in person please pop into the store. Please note spaces are on a first come, first served basis and are limited. You will receive an email prior to class with instructions for what to bring, directions, etc.

One to one sessions and behavioural consults

If you would prefer to work on a one to one basis or have a particular issue you would like help with then these are for you. They can either take place at your home or here. If you have a specific problem or multiple issues that you require a behavioural consult for please download the behavioural consult form from http://www.muddypawsstore.co.uk/dog-training-classes-2018.html and email it to [email protected]. We will then be in contact to discuss your requirements.
